1.  Aperture is the window.  It is how much you are seeing through the camera.  Aperture also controls the focus of the camera.
2.  In a camera aperture controls what is focused and what is not.  It controls whether there is a large depth of focus or a small depth of focus.  In a photo it controls what is blurry and what is not.  For a small depth of field the subject is focused and the background is blurry.  For a large depth of field the subject is out focus and the background is focused.
3.  When changing the aperture you have to change the ISO and the Shutter speed to adjust to the changes in Aperture.

Photographic Themes

I liked this shooting assignment it was fun trying to find things that would match the subjects.  All of the pictures came out the way I expected them to and they are all good looking.  My favorite photo is the picture of diversity.  This is the one with the spoons and this shows diversity because they are all different shapes and sizes showing diversity.

Dear Future Child of Kierstyn,

            I’d like you to meet Kierstyn Rehn McGuire.  She is a good friend of mine and she is a very unique person.  Her middle name is her mother’s maiden name.  I do not know what Kierstyn’s job is going to be in the future but I do know that she loves to take pictures of Polar Bears.  She also, likes taking quality photos.  She is not perfect like all humans but she wishes that she had bigger eyes and naturally straight hair.  Ask her if she has travelled the world yet it has always been a dream of hers.  Hopefully she takes you on this adventure of hers.  Kierstyn as a teenager is addicted to her phone is she still always on it as an adult?  Kierstyn also loves hanging out with her friends she is always hanging with them.  Kierstyn loves to go to chipotle with her friends.  She hates dub-step music I think because she has no dance moves.  Kierstyn hates crabs and always procrastination.  If she could have a super power she would want to have super speed so she wouldn’t be late to class so often.
